| Welcome To My Home Page Hi, To All The Balloon Lovers Across The Great USA. I Am Jim Duell And Am A Fair's & Festival Photographer With More Balloon Pictures Than Anyone Can Look At In A Days Time. I Have Been Taken Photos Of The Hot Air Balloons Since Back In 1997 When I Attended Our Towns First Balloon Festival. It Was Called The Silver Lake Sea Serpent Balloon Rally In Perry, NY. I Took Over 100 Photos In A 2 Day Festival. Living In Perry Most Of My Life I Started Traveling Around To The Different Towns & Villages Where Ever I See A Festival Advertised. Starting Out I Went To Wellsville, Dansville, Perry, Alexanderia Bay, Cooperstown, Lake George. Now I Only Have One Weekend Off A Month So, I Am Limited To Where I Can Go With Only One Weekend Off. In 2005 I Will Be Going To Wellsville, Dansville, Lake George For Sure Along With Scheduled Time Off To Attend The Oswego Harborfest And Erie County Fair And The Great New York State Fair. I Also Will Be Attending A Couple Antique Truck Shows In Batavia And Syracuse. |

Say, Maybe Balloons One Weekend And Harborfest Another Weekend And A Local Carnival Another Weekend And A Antique Car & Truck Show Another Weekend Or Just Arts & Crafts Shows Even Another Weekend. NEW EQUIPTMENT FOR 2005 YES !! I Have A Brand New Konica Minolta 7D Digital SLR Camera With A 28 - 100mm AF Zoom Lens. Having All Different Types Of Minolta Lenses I Can Switch Lenses When Ever The Need Be. I Have 6 Different Minolta Bodies Starting From A XG-7, XG-A, X-700, 2- 5xi's, Maxxum 5, And Now A 7D. I Have 5 Different Auto Focus Lenses Starting With A 50mm, 28-105mm, 28-100mm, 28-90mm, 70-300mm. Send an email LITTLE BIT OF OLD NEWS Still Using 35mm Film For All Camera's Except The 7D I Have A 1-Gig Compact Flash Card and A 512mb Picture Card That Will Allow Me To Shoot About 2500 Pictures. This Would Be Super To Spend A 4 Day Weekend Just Shooting Photos Of A Balloon Festival With Usually 100 Balloons On A Super Day. The Closest To This Was Back In 2001 When I Did About 1800 Pictures In A Weekend. I Hope 2005 Will Turn Out The Same Or Even Better. |
This Will Be Carol & My 6th Year At The Adirondack Balloon Festival In Queensbury Lake George Area. Taking A 1000 to 2000 Pictures Every Year That We Attend Is Well Worth The 4 Days There. The Past Couple Of Years It Hasn't Rained So, 2005 Could Be The Soaker. It Still Won't Stop Me From Going. My Reservations Are Already Made And I Can't Wait To Get There. JIMDUELL@YAHOO.COM |
